Niagara Fallls

Grandma was on holidays last week so we packed up and headed to Niagara Falls for the day. It was so much fun, we started at the Butterfly Conservatory, then went on the Maid of the Mist and then the best part had some very yummy ice cream. Here are a few pics of our trip. Also a big thank you to Auntie Lynne for letting us stay overnight at your place...it was great to see you! Thanks Grandma for a great trip!!

Maid of the Mist

Mommy and I went on a very cool boat ride, called the Maid of the Mist! It was so much fun...and we got really wet. We not really wet, our rain jackets (they looked just like garbage bags, but blue) got really wet. I had to borrow Mommy's sunglasses so the water would stay out of my eyes. The falls were even better up close, we could almost touch them. Thank you Ryley for being good for Grandma so we could go!

Butterfly Conservatory

While we were in the falls we headed to the butterfly conservatory...there were butterflies EVERYWHERE, it was sooo cool! One even landed on my head...there is a picture of him or maybe her :). We also go to see a turtle, he was pretty big.

Weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Wymans Boat

We just got back from a fun weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Wyman at their boat. I had lots of fun...we got to go tubing, swim in the biggest pool ever (the lake), and we did some fishing. It was very exciting when I got to drive the boat...honking the horn was the best :)! Thanks for the great weekend away...too bad the weather was not soo good today, thats okay, yesterday was a blast! Thanks so much!!








I got to go tubing with Daddy...and boy oh boy did I have lots of fun! It was the best when Grandpa W went very fast...sometimes we almost flew right out of the tube! Can't wait to try that again! The faster the better :)

I did some fishing with Grandma and Grandpa Wyman...the first time we tried I caught a fish...Grandma W got a picture of it...I was soo excited. There is also a picture of Ryley...he just hung out while I was busy!

Our GREAT vacation....thank you thank you and thank you again Aunt Marg and Uncle Ken

Here are the pictures from our trip to the Poconos. We took 2 days to get there and stayed over in Syracuse for one night. When we got there we stopped at a great park/lake and had a picnic lunch. I played in the "spritzer", and playground. We also did some splashing in the lake. On Sunday we got up and headed to the zoo before the rest of the trip. I was a bit grumpy, but I did have fun. We saw some really cool animals, the red panda, cute cats, Bald Eagle, elephants (most of them were taken to the Toronto Zoo while they make their home better). I got a new friend, Louie(he goes everywhere with me), he is a tiger (I love my stufffed friends so much).
We had a great trip. We spent most of our time at the resort, lots of swimming, hiking and playing games. We did take a trolley ride (Aunt Marg was not a fan of it, and little too hot and bumpy :)). We learned some very cool things about the Poconos. The "guys" went to the flea market one morning, the ladies went shopping and got some great deals. It was very nice to getaway, but sometimes it is great to get home. Thanks Aunt Marg and Uncle Ken for taking us...we had lots of fun.

The Land of Make Believe..

On one of our day trips we headed to "The Land of Make Believe" in New Jersey. It was lots of fun, so many rides to go on. My favorite one was the TORNADO (Daddy liked this one too) and the water slides. This was the first time I have been on a HUGE slide like that. I rode a #8(tube) with Daddy down the slide (Mommy did go but it was not her thing :)). Mommy did go on the roller coaster, she was pretty scared (as most of you know she does not like rides)..but in the end we had lots of fun on it and went on it again and again. Daddy went on a HUGE water slide...next time you see my Daddy you will have to ask him about it...Mommy said she has never ever seen Daddy look so scared :)

We can now mark Jersey off our list of places to go :)

Swimming

The place where we stayed had 2 really great pools, and we used them everyday. Here are some pictures of us having lots of fun. It was so much fun to swim all the time...and I am a GREAT swimmer now. I must admit Ryley is getting pretty good too..thanks Oma for his turtle! By the end of the week I did not even need my fish to swim!

The General Store

Daddy had to sleep for our long trip home, so Grandma, Mommy, Ryley and I packed up and headed to the largest General Store. It was kind of a neat store, they sure had lots to look at. The only thing we bought was a toy for Hank and Buster, your welcome guys. Here are some pictures of some things we came arcoss in the store. Daniel the picture with Obama is especially for you!!

Akane

For those of you that did not get to meet Akane, here is a great picture of Ryley and I with her. She was a student living with Wendy and Martin for the last 6 months. We both had so much fun with her while she was here. We are glad you had a safe trip home, but we all miss you very much!

Happy Canada Day!

Mommy, Ryley and I spent Canada Day at Wendy and Martin's. Daddy had to work for the day so we decided to pack up and head to Burlington for the street party. I had so much fun. I played alot with Vanessa and Akane, they did some crafts with me, played a water balloon game (haha Vanessa gotcha wet), Akane painted my face and helped me with a yummy candy stick. Mommy even let me dance in the street...with Jackie ofcourse (nice moves by the way Jackie). I had lots of fun chasing Daniel all around the yard...I bet i pooped you out :). When it got really dark they had fireworks....you wouldn't believe how many there were..it was soo much fun. All of the kids got a sparkler too...it was almost as tall as me. Thank you Wendy and Martin for inviting us...all 3 of us had so much fun!! HAPPY CANADA DAY!!
